In this episode, John interviews Dian Ginsberg, the Director of Career Services at the American Association for Physician Leadership (AAPL). Through their conversation, we learn that the AAPL is the oldest organization devoted to physician leadership, and that its members are physicians only.
Previously known as the American College of Physician Executives, it provides education, career services, coaching and a certification program.
It has recently added expanded psychometric assessment to help physicians determine their readiness and competitiveness for a new leadership position.
