The first PHP Networking Conference was held on April 6 and 7, 2019 in Austin, Texas. Michelle Mudge-Riley opened the conference and the founding members described their career journeys for the attendees.
Faculty presented multiple workshops, and served as mentors. John partnered with Dr. Jay Dave for a discussion of six careers open to non-residency trained physicians. He presented a session about podcasting with Dr. Jesse Lopez. And he also provided an overview of hospital management careers.
The participants were very enthusiastic and engaged. Dozens of nonclinical careers were discussed. And mentors provided individual coaching for attendees.
