In this episode, John interviews obstetrician/gynecologist Stephanie Pearson. Stephanie was forced to leave her practice due to a work-related injury. To make matters worse, her disability insurance refused to cover her injury when it became clear she would not be able to return to her specialty.
Ultimately, Stephanie was able to overcome these challenges and forge a new career. She developed a passion for educating physicians about the nuances of insurance coverage, so that they do not put their greatest asset, their earning power, at jeopardy.
