This week I’d like to prepare you for a position as a Hospital Quality Improvement Medical Director. This is a critical hospital role that I found:

• intellectually challenging
• key to improving patient care
• important for achieving and publishing outcome scores to the public, and,
• an essential skill set for the future CMO or CQO

By understanding and mastering these concepts, you will be able to articulate your understanding of QI during an interview. And you'll be better able to lead such initiatives.
