Aug 30, 2022

Called a creativity guru, Robin Landa, Distinguished Professor in the Michael Graves College at Kean University, is the author of 25 nonfiction books published by esteemed publishers such as Simon & Schuster.

Berrett-Koehler will publish her new book, The New Art of Ideas: Unlock Your Creative Potential in November. Actor Holly Taylor (Manifest; The Americans) illustrated the book. In it, Robin offers a brand-new method for generating worthwhile ideas.

Robin has earned recognition for her design, writing, art, and teaching, including awards from the National Society of Arts and Letters, the National League of Pen Women, the New Jersey Author’s Award, Kean Presidential Excellence awards, and others.

Considered “one of the great teachers of our time” by the Carnegie Foundation, Robin has taught university students and industry professionals how to generate lots of worthwhile ideas.

During our interview, Robin explains why her process for developing creative ideas is useful and effective. And she walks us through the three major steps that will deliver an idea worth pursuing.

This approach can help physicians to develop new products and new business ideas for nonclinical pursuits.

Her book goes on sale in November of this year, but it is available on Amazon and from her website for preorder.
