In this episode, John speaks with Canadian anesthesiologist Dr. Cindy Wang. Dr. Wang has been providing anesthesia services for about four years. She is very interested in pursuing a career in hospital management, ultimately as chief medical officer. She has already started work on a master's degree in public health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston.
Cindy describes some of the other steps she has taken to advance her career. During this mentoring session, John provides insights into other strategies to explore as she embarks on her career transition.
